     He revived moments from tobacco, awakening the memories of tobacco farming, which was the dominant economic activity in Proti and in all the villages of Pangeos, for many decades.

"I got old and passed the blooming times

I understood nothing, only woes and pains

Like an extinguished coal,  my heart turned black

from the many sufferings and from my tears".
